ಆಯತ ಸ್ವಾಯತ ಅನುಭಾವದ ಅರಿವು - English Translation

ಆಯತ ಸ್ವಾಯತ ಅನುಭಾವವ ನಾನೆತ್ತ ಬಲ್ಲೆನಯ್ಯಾ?

ಗುರು ಲಿಂಗ ಜಂಗಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಥಪ್ರಾಣಾಭಿಮಾನವ ಸಮರ್ಪಿಸಿ,

ಅಹಂಕಾರವಳಿದಿಹಂತಹ ಪುರಾತನರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭೃತ್ಯರ ಭೃತ್ಯಳಾಗಿಪ್ಪೆನಯ್ಯಾ.

ಇದು ಕಾರಣ, ಚೆನ್ನಮಲ್ಲಿಕಾರ್ಜುನಯ್ಯನ ಗಣಂಗಳಲ್ಲದನ್ಯವ ನಾನರಿಯೆನಯ್ಯಾ.

That prepared, self-controlled mystical experience, how indeed can I know it, O Lord?

To Guru, Linga, and Jangama, having dedicated wealth, life, and ego (self-conceit),

In the house (or spiritual abode) of the ancients who have obliterated their ego,

A servant of their servants I shall be, O Lord.

For this reason, other than the Ganas (devotee-community) of Chennamallikarjuna, my Lord, I know nothing else, O Lord.

How shall I, O Lord, presume to know

That state prepared, by self subdued, where mystic currents flow?

My wealth, my life, my very self, I offer at the feet

Of Guru, Linga, Jangama—surrender sacred and sweet.

In the abode of ancients, where all ego finds its end,

A servant to their servants, thus my life I wish to spend, O Lord.

For this dear cause, and this alone, my heart knows no other way,

Than the Ganas of Chennamallikarjuna, my Lord, I know naught else, I say!

ಆಯತ - ಸ್ವಾಯತ - ಸನ್ನಿಹಿತ ಗಳು ಲಿಂಗಾಯತ ಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರ್ತಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವ ಮೂರು ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಹಂತಗಳು. ಲಿಂಗವು ಸಾಧನಗೆ ಬಳಸುವ ಒಂದು ಅಣಿಗೆ / tool / ಸಾಧನ.‌  ಅಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಆಯತಲಿಂಗ, ಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ವಾಯತಲಿಂಗ, ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸನ್ನಿಹಿತಲಿಂಗ.

ಆಯತಲಿಂಗ ಎಂದರೆ ದೀಕ್ಷೆಯಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ರೂಪವುಳ್ಳ ಬರಿಗಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಕಾಣುವ ಲಿಂಗ. ಲಿಂಗಾಯತ theology ಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯತ ಎಂದರೆ ಸಿದ್ದತೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ, ತಯಾರಿ ಆದ, ಯೋಗ್ಯತೆ ಗಳಿಸಿದ ಒಂದು ಹಂತ ಎಂದು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು "prepared" ಎಂದು ಬಳಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
